TENNIS SCHOLARSHIPS

You have a mean serve, a wicked backhand, and a work ethic that does not include the word “quit.” What you do not have (yet) is a way to leverage your ability into a college education and, potentially, a rewarding career in the sport. American College Placement is committed to helping young athletes explore and access tennis scholarships in the United States.

ACP, where dreams become reality

Explore your chances to get college tennis scholarships in the United States with help from American College Placement.

MY NAME IS CHRISTIAN PICOT AND I AM A
senior in high school. I have aspired to play college tennis, and recruitment and communication with coaches was daunting to me. American College Placement really helped me make sense of a complicated process. They helped me create a realistic list of schools and reached out on my behalf to many coaches who might not previously have had me on their radar. I really appreciated their guidance.

College Tennis Scholarships for High School Athletes

The American College Placement team has walked in your (tennis) shoes. We are collegiate athletes and coaches who understand the level of play required, the fierce competition you face, and the need for intensive, and personalized, mentoring. ACP doesn’t just help you unearth opportunities for tennis scholarships in the United States; we help you find the right placement at a college that will empower you to take the next steps in your athletic career.

The average value of a four-year scholarship to a top school has a value of over $500,000. Finding the right program is not just a short-term decision; it is an investment in yourself.

Playing on a Crowded Court

There are 182,876 high school women tennis players and 157,240 high school men tennis players. By college, those numbers drop to 10,782 and 10,183 respectively. There are far fewer “spots,” if you will. Only about 4% of high school players go on to perform at a collegiate - and just 1% do so at NCAA I schools.

This isn’t to discourage young athletes. The numbers do, however, underscore the importance of achieving, and sharpening, your competitive edge. This is where ACP comes in. With just a handful of athletic scholarships for tennis players available at, it is essential that you have winning mentors who can provide targeted advice and guidance. ACP exclusively hires those who have played and/or coached at the college level, and we maintain an extensive network of contacts that can make all the difference when it comes to your next steps.

A mean serve is just part of the equation. To succeed in the collegiate and even pro tennis world, you need the help of experienced experts. American College Placement is on your team.
